Welcome! I am Peter Neil Holland, the author of four Young Adult fantasy fiction books. You can call me Neil.
The Saxe Point Park Mystery, The Lost Boys of Lampson, and The E&N Escape from the Vancouver Island Mysteries trilogy are fast-paced magical mysteries with settings close to home. I’m writing the second book in a trilogy called Mellissadorha, a book of short stories and a paranormal detective series. I have so many stories in my head that I can’t wait to share with you!
I taught for over thirty years in public schools in Victoria, British Columbia, and hold an M.Ed. from UVic, with a major in English. I enjoy visiting schools and sharing my reading and writing insights. I’m also a former hockey and soccer player and former president of The Victoria Writers’ Society. I’ve received The Victoria Public Library’s ‘Emerging Authors’ award.
In 2007, after a severe accident, I started writing Y/A fiction. I learned a lot from a seasoned author, editor, and friend, Bev Cook, and I write in memory of my wife, Kris. My books can be found in several libraries and bookstores and on Amazon, Apple Books, Kobo, and Barnes & Noble.
You can find me in Victoria, BC, where I enjoy life with my two children, five grandchildren, a dog, a cat, a lizard, and a guinea pig.
